I drink a lot of coffee. I love having different flavored creamers so I can have a variety when I have a cup. I personally don’t go to coffee shops to pay crazy prices for a specialty drink. I wouldn’t even know what or how to order one if I did. I’d love to be able to make my own in the comfort of my home.
Recently, I was introduced to The Frozen Bean. They manufacture coffee drink mixes to very well-known coffee houses all around the world. The Frozen Bean recently launched into retail to directly provide people with a way to enjoy cafe quality coffee at home without breaking the bank!
There are SIX flavors available at Walmart* stores now:
- Mocha Latte Frappe
- Sea Salt Caramel Latte Frappe
- Frozen Hot Chocolate Frappe
- French Hazelnut Latte Frappe
- Horchata Frappe Mix
- Vanilla Latte Frappe
Each packet does contain coffee and makes 2 8-ounce servings, or one very large serving for me.
Cafe Quality Coffee at Home
The Frozen Bean makes it so super easy to make your own specialty drinks at home. You can make it hot or frozen.
- To make hot, I use my iCoffee Opus to get hot water and stir in The Frozen Bean packet. That’s it!
- To make frozen, pour milk (we use almond milk) or water into our Ninja mixer with a whole packet of The Frozen Bean mix. Add 1 1/2 C of ice. Blend until smooth.
Enjoying a delicious @frozenbean Vanilla Latte ☕️ this beautiful sunny 🌞 FL morning. Frozen Bean is perfect for those who want a scrumptious specialty coffee super quick w/out paying a high price. Yesterday I tried their Sea Salt Caramel Latte & it’s instantly my new favorite coffee drink. Available at Walmart. #sponsored
In all honesty, it’s really hard for me to choose a favorite flavor from The Frozen Bean. I think if I had to narrow them down, it would be the Sea Salt Caramel Latte Frappe & Mocha Latte Frappe. I loved them all but these two are my tops faves. I’m thinking that I need to make a special run to the store to get them since I’m all out!
Something that I especially love is the fact that there isn’t a ton of caffeine in each drink. I am very sensitive to caffeine so I either drink half-caff or *gasp* decaf coffee. I assumed that while drinking The Frozen Bean coffee drinks I was going to start feeling the usual heart racing/panic attack feeling…but it never happened.
After looking it up, I found out that The Frozen Bean products have about 20-30+ mg of caffeine, while the average cup of regular coffee has about 95 mg of caffeine. If you need more caffeine in your day, I would suggest adding the mix to your regular coffee. I tried it out and it amplifies the coffee flavor while making it super delicious.
The Frozen Bean individual packets are sold at Walmart for only $1.25, a fraction of the $4-5 a person would normally spend at Starbucks or Coffee Bean.
