Summers in Florida are ridiculously hot. Our air conditioner is even having a hard time keeping up. We love our coffee hot but now we can Cool Off This Summer With Community Iced Coffee!
Recently, Community Coffee launched its first-ever “Iced K-Cup” in Mocha Vanilla, specially formulated for iced coffee. It perfectly blends together the flavors of chocolate mocha and creamy French Vanilla. Pour over a large cup of ice and it is drinkable heaven.
The new flavor does not contain cream or sugar so coffee lovers can customize their drink based on personal preference. Made with only 100% select Arabica coffee beans.
Truth be told, I’m not really an iced coffee fan. The hotter my coffee is, the better. I’m not the only one in this house who enjoys coffee so these K-Cups went pretty fast. The teen enjoyed it the most, and she isn’t so much a ‘coffee person’!
About Community Coffee
The Community Coffee Company is now in it’s 96th year and is the largest family-owned and operated coffee company in the U.S. Four generations of the Saurage family have operated the company since it was founded in 1919 on the north edge of Baton Rouge by Cap Suarage. It started in the early 1900’s when he opened a country store to sell coffee and other groceries to his neighbors. Since he was serving them, he knew his coffee had to be the best quality for them. This is how his mission came to be as well as the name, Community Coffee. Now, using only 100% Arabica beans, they are the importer, roaster and distributor of the highest quality premium coffees.
The Community Coffee Company helps support the military with their Military Match program. This program gives the men and women of the U.S. military a taste of home while serving away from home by doubling orders. You can read more about the Military Match here.
Cool Off This Summer With Community Iced Coffee
There are so many delicious ways to enjoy an iced coffee. The best way to enjoy the Community Coffee Mocha Vanilla is to brew it in your single brewer, I use an iCoffee Opus, on the small setting (or 6 oz.) then add your sweetener and cream, if desired. Pour over a 12 oz. non-glass cup of ice.
- Brew hot using small cup button (or 6 oz.)
- Sweeten and cream, if desired
- Pour over 12 oz. NON-GLASS cup of ice
Make sure to add the sweetener and cream BEFORE pouring over ice! The teen made that mistake and it wasn’t a very fixable one, especially since she used original flavored powered creamer.
We also use liquid French Vanilla creamer and regular sugar. Either way, it makes the Mocha Vanilla iced coffee sweet and delicious.
