KISS InstaWave Review

As most of you know, I have very fine, thin hair. It’s been like this my whole life and just seems to be getting worse with age…and I’m only 35!!KISS InstaWave Review I can’t do anything with it either. I remember in middle school having to curl my bangs, spray them with a ton of hairspray, then tease them out into a sort of wave on the side of my head…oh thank God those days are over!

1Nowadays, my hair is either in a ponytail or a claw clip but I like to switch it up when going out to something like this but as you can see, my hair is straight as can be and my bangs are thin! Needless to say, I was a bit worried that the KISS Instawave would not work when I sent one for review purposes.

My Experience:

I had a right to worry…my hair just does not want to cooperate with this Instawave! I tried so many times to get it to work but my hair is just way too thin for the Instawave to grab it while spinning. My last resort was to put it all in a ponytail and try one big curl. I used the High setting to achieve a tighter curl and counted to 30. It still didn’t want to grab my hair! I ended up with a sort of kinked wave but after about 10 minutes my hair just looked like a big kink. I really wanted this to work too. As you can see below…YES, THIS IS REALLY ALL OF MY HAIR IN A PONYTAIL!

 KISS InstaWave KISS InstaWave

In conclusion, I don’t think the KISS Instawave works great with thin hair! I’ve seen many reviews and video tutorials and see others with “normal” hair using it with no problem to create gorgeous curls. Apparently, my hair just sucks.
