Overlook Your Horrible Hair Day With Aflac!

*This post was made possible by iConnect Influencer Management and Aflac. I was compensated for my participation in this campaign, but all opinions are 100% mine.

We have all had those bad days, some more than others. I remember back in middle school was when the in-thing to do was to curl, tease, and spray as much hairspray as you could on your bangs to make them sky high. Thanks goodness that is over now! After frying my hair, I started going with the natural look, which meant putting nothing in my hair – unless it was a hairband or scrunchie. Fast-forward to today where I am a stay-at-home, homeschoolin’ mama of 3. Yeah, my hairdo hasn’t changed much at all. But what happens when I have to actually leave the house??

Bad Hair Day (or for me, a Normal Hair Day 😉 )

Aflac Bad Hair Day #SalonDuck

Good Hair Day (AKA – I have to leave the house)

Aflac Good Hair Day #SalonDuck Style #1:

I do not have much hair at all and it is so fine and straight that it is hard to do anything with it! This hairdo is created by adding some dry shampoo or volumizing styling powder to the bangs to help me cut the oil and add a bit of volume. Then, take a small hairband and make a loose ponytail with the top half of your hair. I like to brush my bangs over to the side for a little bump to it. Leave as is or spray a little hairspray!

Style #2: This is one that I love the most but it does takeAflac Good Hair Day #SalonDuck just a little more work for me. Add some dry shampoo or volumizing styling powder to the bangs. brush them over to the side and just tease them enough to make a bump. Clip to the side of head using a few bobby-pins or barrette. Done!

Duck Salon

Have you seen Aflac’s new “Duck Salon” commercial? It is so funny and continues to tell the story of the Aflac Duck trying out new things, and this time it is hairstyling. The commercial shows the Aflac Duck falling short as he tries to make the cut as a hair stylist.

As his clients react with horror and shock, two women observing the Aflac Duck’s work from under the dryers discuss how one mistakenly believed that he was the best hair stylist.

The spot closes with a conversation between two women at the salon: “Oh, he’s a horrible stylist, but, he’s the best at paying claims fast.” She later adds, “He paid mine in just one day.” The first woman is so impressed with Aflac’s new One Day Pay promise that she overlooks the horrible hairdos.

Aflac SmartClaim One Day Pay

In the United States, Aflac is the leading provider of voluntary insurance at the work site. Aflac is different from health insurance; it’s insurance for daily living. Aflac pays cash benefits quickly and directly to you, unless otherwise assigned, to help with out-of-pocket expenses when you’re sick or hurt. The benefits are predetermined and paid regardless of any other insurance you have.

Supplemental insurance policies such as accident, critical illness and cancer help protect workers from high out-of-pocket costs that major medical insurance was never designed to cover. Many supplemental insurance policies pay cash benefits that can be used for everyday living expenses like groceries, child care, rent or parking at the hospital. If supplemental insurance policies are not part of your health plan, it may be worth approaching your employer to ask for them.

About One Day Pay℠

When a policyholder gets sick or hurt, Aflac pays cash benefits fast – now in as little as ONE business day with the company’s new One Day Pay℠ promise.

One Day Pay℠ is Aflac’s way of making sure eligible claims get processed and approved the same day they’re submitted, so policyholders can get paid in just a day. Aflac is built to process and pay – not to deny and delay – to help your life stay on track.

A lot of insurance companies talk about how much money they’ll save policyholders on premiums, but people buy insurance to get paid when they need to file a claim. Aflac understands that claims matter and that it’s important to be there for their policyholders when they need it most.
