I was recently introduced to Teeconomist.com, the awesome marketplace for super cool pop culture, sci fi, comics, and more clothing. I’m not sure how I didn’t come across them before but I am glad that I did now. Each of the designs are from talented artists and shirt designers from all around the world. Every purchase made on teeconomist.com helps support their passion as well as introduce us to their amazing art. I found this Donnie Darko tee that I HAD to have called WAKE UP by ntesign.

On Teeconomist, you can find a Daily Deal started from $10 where a new design is featured and includes many color options. Not only do they have tees, you can also choose to have the featured design as a long sleeve shirt, hoodies and also kids sizes (including onesies!). If you missed the Daily Deal window, the design will still be available for a limited time in the marketplace but starting at $19.95 instead of $10. To make their clothing, Teeconomist mainly uses direct to garment (DTG) printing and also silk printing. These are normally used for more expensive apparel and result in a superior garment. I noticed right away that my tee is high quality and has some thickness to it, unlike other t-shirt sites I have ordered from. After washing mine, it shrank just a tad but that was fine for me since I had ordered a Large Unisex size anyway. Teeconomist T-shirts are pre-shrunk so you will get much less shrinkage after drying them. You can iron them, just make sure to turn it inside out so you do not iron directly on the print and ruin it.
