2015 Blog Year In Review

2015 Blog Year In Review

I can’t believe that another year has come to an end! I was able to take a look back at all of the accomplishments I have made with my little slice of the interweb here and must say that I am pretty happy with them. When I started blogging in 2013 with my first blog, Benoit Academy, I had no idea I would end up where I am today in the blogging world. You can read more about that story here. I really started trying to up my game when it came to writing and even photography. I still have a long way to go but it is so much fun in the meantime!

Daily Deals from a Nerd Mom has slowly grown over the past year after I decided to move away from the ‘deals’ area and focused on product reviews, recipes, and (everyone’s favorite!) giveaways. I was able to get some great campaigns because of this and provide some awesome content to you lovely readers.

Most Popular Posts of 2015

If you are a regular reader here, you may remember most of them. It seems like my readers really enjoy the recipes and food posts the most! After realizing this, I have decided to add more recipes during the year of 2016. You’re welcome! 😉

#1 “My Chili’s Rewards” Program from Chili’s Grill & Bar – We were offered the opportunity to visit Chili’s Grill & Bar earlier in the year so we could find out firsthand what their new rewards program was all about. This is our #1 post of the year!

#2 No Bake Philadelphia Oreo Cheesecake – This recipe that I shared from Kraft is a deliciously simple, cool summer treat.

  • The Easy Lasagna had to be my favorite even though I can’t even imagine making it unless I figure out how to make single portions. And that Cheesecake looks to die for!! Figuring out what everyone else wants you to put on yoir blog–it isn’t easy–I know I go through the same all the time!!

    • Thanks so much, Michele! Maybe you could make a lasagna and then freeze it in smaller portions maybe?

That’s the thing about blogging – some posts can be a hit or a miss!

  • From your top 5 posts I can see that, like me, your readers love yummy recipes! Keep up the great work girl, can’t wait to see what 2016 has in store for us!

    • Chris!!

I have no idea how we became unfriended but I am happy that you found me & commented! I am sending you a pm on FB since you do not have a friend request button either.

      Happy New Year!
