Add a Twist of Fun to the Holidays with the Snipe Hunt Game!

Everyone looks forward to gifts under the tree, but what if you added a twist by making the kids hunt for them? The new Snipe Hunt game from Education Outdoors is a hide-and-seek type game for two people, two teams or special single seeker play. The object of the game is to be the first player/team to find the other players/teams Snipe first and return it to the nest. If the Snipes have not been found after a period of time, they start to chirp to help the player find it and their eyes light up. Kids are sure to get a kick out of the extra hunt for this gift.

Snipe Hunt includes two Snipes, one green (named Smartin) and one red (named Biela), and a Snipe nest. They require 4 AAA batteries to work (2 batteries for each Snipe). They rest in the nest when not in use and there is an on/off switch to save batteries. The great thing about this games is that it can be used indoors as well as outdoors for year-round fun! Snipes starts to chirp after 2 1/2 minutes once removed from nest and turned on and the eyes light up after 5 minutes. Play at night in the dark for some added fun and adventure.

Snipe Hunt is recommended for ages 6+ but I can see my niece and nephew, who are toddlers, have a ton of fun with these! Our 8 and 10 year old thought it was fun and got them moving instead of playing on the computer and video games all day. That is a huge bonus for us!

This would be a fun game to start opening the gifts with or even end it with. Tell them you have a fun present that they have to find and watch their face as they hear the chirping sounds!

The Snipe Hunt game is available on Amazon.com. Make sure to check out Education Outdoors for more great products as well as their Facebook and Twitter.
