Best Boiled Corn on the Cob EVER

Corn on the cob is one of those foods that we love, yet rarely eat it. I’m not even sure why. When I do make it, I end up boiling the heck out of it until it’s almost inedible. Why do I feel like it has to cook for so long?! I don’t have to worry anymore because I have found a way to make the best-boiled corn on the cob EVER!

  2. Add corn and boil for 6 – 8 minutes, or until tender.
  3. Remove and serve!

This method of cooking corn on the cob is the only one I will ever use for the rest of my life. Everyone said it was so delicious and tasty. Since it is cooked in the butter, it already has that buttery taste. We didn’t feel the need to have to add more butter or even salt when we were eating them. That made the corn much less messy to eat.

Do you like milk and butter boiled corn on the cob? Have you ever tried it before?

I’ve seriously never heard of making corn on the cob like this. I’ve always just boiled it in water or made it in the microwave (yup, it actually works!). I’m definitely trying it with milk, sugar, and butter the next time I make corn on the cob. It really sounds delicious. I bet the sugar and butter just infuse into the corn and give it that sweet yummy goodness.

The corn turns out very yummy with a sweet buttery taste. I have heard of the microwave trick but we always have to make so many that I never tried it. Let me know if you like it!

Oooh, this sounds so good!! I’m with you, I love corn on the cob but I don’t make it a lot because of the same reasons, it usually seems like a big hassle. Last time I did it was when I was grilling. I would definitely try this, I’m intrigued by the thought of not having to add butter! Thanks for the idea!

Thank you for the recipe. I’m going to try this the next time I fix corn on the cob. This should give that blah hybrid corn a sweeter, more fresh corn on the cob taste.
