Experience the Magic of Movie Making with OgoBILD + Animate Studio Kit!
The Son and Kid Baker love to make their own videos. They use an old camera of mine as well as their Kindle Fires. The videos are so funny and silly, sometimes just them making up a story and sometimes they use props, dolls, and action figures to act them out. I have found an awesome way for them to experience the magic of movie making with OgoBILD + Animate Studio Kit!
OgoBILD with Animate Studio Kit combines constructive play with stop motion animation movie making. With over 100 OgoBILD construction pieces, you can make all sorts of character combinations.
Also included in the kit is the Animate It! Express software, which was developed with the Aardman Animations studio (the creators of Wallace & Gromit and Chicken Run) and is the premier UK education stop-motion animation software.
- 108 OgoBILD construction pieces
- Certificate for Animate It! Express software
- Steady-mount webcam

The Son and Kid Baker were super excited when this kit arrived. They had no idea and so were fascinated by the concept. They opened the box right away, flipped through the easy-to-follow instruction manual, and downloaded the software. Before I knew it, they were already working on their first stop animation video!
I personally had no part in the process. I watched our 9 and 11 year old do the entire process themselves. This is how easy the kit is to use! The characters were crazy and zany looking and the videos were hilarious. Kid Baker even added in her Frozen characters into the mix!
The possibilities are endless with the OgoBILD with Animation Studio Kit. The nerdlings are still working on perfecting their stop animation movie making but they are having a blast doing it. You can even share your masterpieces with family, friends, and the world!
Here is their very first #OgoBildShorts. It’s super short, literally 1 second long:

My daughter would have loved something like this when she was younger. What a neat program!
Very fun and educational!
What a fun activity. What age do you think a kid would need to be before they could utilize it?
The manufacturer suggests ages 6+. I can see them using it at that age easily but may need some help with the editing/computer part. But yet, now kids can do things like this almost out if the womb! Lol
