Get Juiced Up with Champion Juicer!

My family and I am always looking for more healthier alternatives when it comes to our food. We aren’t on any kind of special ‘diet’ really but I would rather have a counter full of fruit for the kids to choose from easier than a cabinet full of junk food. We hardly buy fruit juice and always offer milk and water for a drink. It just seems like all of the fruit juices in the stores are loaded down with extra sugar or aren’t even actual juice at all. I have always wanted a juicer for as long as I can remember and I am ecstatic to be able to share with you our review if the Champion Juicer 2000!

The Champion Juicer 2000 is the monster of juicers powered by a 1/3 horsepower, heavy-duty General Electric motor.  This looks like something you would find on the counters of a restaurant! With only 9 parts to assemble and clean, juicing is a breeze. The juicer gives you continuous cool juicing with automatic pulp ejection. You can not only juice, but also homogenize, make soups, baby food, sauces and dips, smoothies, ice cream and so so much more! With the optional Grain Mill attachment, you can easily prepare flour, corn and soy meal, ground coffee beans and ground pepper corns.

I will admit that I was a little intimidated before using it for the first time, especially being the first time EVER using a juicer. After making sure it was all together properly, plugging it in and turning it on, I started adding the fruit in and felt much more confident. It is so easy and quick to operate.

I did learn fast that if it is not assembled properly that the juicer will not turn on. This is a safety feature. Make sure that the screen (or blank) holder is assembled properly. There is a set of magnets on it that needs to touch the main juicer machine properly to work. I had a moment of dread when I thought that the juicer was broke!

Included with our Champion Juicer 2000:

  • 1 Body
  • 1 Cutter
  • 1 Screen Holder
  • 3 Screens (Standard, Large & Tomato)
  • 1 Blank
  • 1 Tamper
  • 1 Funnel
  • 1 Bowl (Standard)
  • 1 Sieve
  • 1 Book
  • 1 Brush
  • 1 Manual with Recipes

Champion Juicer 2000

Our first time using the Champion Juicer 2000 was an experiment. We had a large amount of different fruits already available so we pretty much used some of each: apples, oranges, strawberries, seedless grapes and a banana.

Another important thing that we learned was that the banana should have been used with a blank slide! We realized that the instruction manual that comes with the juicer does not give much info about which slides/blank to use with what foods. That could have been because the juicer normally comes with just a Standard slide while we also received the Large and Tomato slides as well. Just another reason why this was an experiment…a fun and delicious experiment!

  • Now this is a juicer! I’ve been talking to the hubs about juicing. He’s not on board but he loves kitchen gadgets as much as I do. Maybe this will persuade him :).

    Great review Jess!
