Simply 7 Snacks Review

Recently I was sent a HUGE box of snacks from Simply7 SnacksSimply7 started because of a distressing trend they noticed in our local grocery stores: food made with ingredients that most people don’t recognize and can’t even pronounce. Sounds great to me! But how do they taste?? I’ll tell you all about our “survey” that we conducted while taste testing these in a bit!

Simply7 established the 7 core standards by which their company stands behind. Hence, the Simply7 name:

  1. 0 Grams Trans Fat and No Cholesterol
  2. No Artificial Colors or Flavors
  3. No Preservatives
  4. Gluten Free Ingredients
  5. All Natural Recipes
  6. Simple Ingredients – no unrecognizable or hard-to-pronounce ingredients.
  7. Simply Delicious

There are 4 different types of chips, each with different flavors: Lentil chips, Pomegranate chips, Hummus, and Quinoa chips.

I decided since there are 5 of us and a big box of snacks that a survey-type taste testing was the best way to get everyone’s reactions down.

√ means like, X means don’t like, — means it’s ok:Simply7 Snacks

Most of them tasted great to me but it seemed that the lentil chips were the most popular amongst the household. The Lentil Bruschetta chips were a big hit in this house. They tasted just like pizza chips to us! You can bet that was the first bag to disappear quick! Our second favorite is the Lentil Creamy Dill chips. I had to hide to eat them a few times so I wouldn’t have to share! Third favorite are the Lentil Jalapeno chips. They reminded us of the kettle cooked name brand chips that we love so much.

Pomegranate chips have that nice fruity hint to it. A bit different but I loved all three flavors. Hummus chips were ok; our favorite from them would be the Spicy Chili Pepper with the least favorite being Roasted Red Pepper. That was actually our least favorite of all of the chips. Quinoa chips have that texture and look of the popular brand, Sun Chips. My favorite out of those is Cheddar.

Final Thoughts:

Overall we enjoyed them. I would love to make the complete switch to eating Simply7 snacks but, alas, old habits & tastes are hard to break. These will be making an appearance more in our pantry though! To find out if Simply7 Snacks are available in your area click HERE! You can also order online HERE!
