I was able to review e-cloth’s Universal Stone with Applicator recently. The first item I used this on was our stove. It needed a good cleaning but I didn’t realize just how bad it was until using the Universal Stone. My hubs is actually the one who used it while I took the images.

Universal Stone with Applicator

Universal Stone is a non-abrasive cleaner made from natural ingredients: soap flakes, green soap, vegetable oils, glycerin, polishing clay earth and natural perfumes (citronella). It cleans, polishes and preserves all in one step! There are many surfaces that you can use it on, including chromium, stainless steel, aluminum, silver, gold, copper, brass, tin, enamel, glass, acrylic plastic, crystal, plastic, painted wood, ceramics, etc.

Since it dissolves limescale and grease, it is perfect for all around the home and car such as: tiles, toilets, washbasins, baths, kitchen counters, sinks, fittings, hotplates, ceramic stoves, windows, radiators, varnished surfaces, car roofs, chrome plating on cars and motorcycles. Excellent for sports and leisure equipment: trophies, musical instruments, lawn and garden tools and furniture, boats, skis and snowboards, bicycles, etc.

How To Use

Dampen the applicator then wipe it across the stone a few times. Squeeze the applicator to make a foam and then clean your surface. Rinse with water or wipe with a damp cloth. Make sure to allow the stone to dry before closing the lid on it. Since there is no shelf life, you do not have to worry about it expiring or losing cleaning capacity.

Our Experience

We used it on our stove right away. We wiped off any crumbs or food on it first and then the hubs went to work. He didn’t need to put too much elbow grease into it at all. I should have an image of the applicator after cleaning the stove but for some reason I didn’t think of it. The awesome part is that after rinsing off the applicator in water it came out clean as new!

One thing that happened was that the next day after hubs cleaned the stove I had accidently boiled over potatoes. It made a baked on mess on the front right burner and he wasn’t too happy! The good thing?? Hubs cleaned it again! Yes, I made the mess but it was while cooking dinner and he cleaned it for me right after dinner because he couldn’t stand seeing his beautiful work damaged. SCORE!

Since there are so many uses for Universal Stone, this is our go-to product. I leave it under our kitchen sink. We are already planning to use it on our shower walls and floor!
