Winning Moves Family Game Night!
My family and I love to have a Family Game Night but we usually don’t get the chance to make it a weekly event. We should though since it is such a fun way to spend time together and connect! Winning Moves Games sent us five new games so we could take our game night to the next level! Two of these are classic games that the hubs and I enjoyed as kids (Hi-Ho! Cherry-O and Guess Who?), two more are classic games with a modern twist (Throw ‘N Go! Jenga and Connect 4 Twist & Turn) and one is a brand new game called Fish Fish Squish.
With Fish Fish Squish being the newest addition to the Winning Moves Games, I will start with that one. My two youngest had the most fun with this when I played with them.
- Ages 5+
- 2-4 Players
Each player molds their school of dough-fish in their choice of color (purple, yellow, blue and red) and then stands them up on their board piece of matching color. The object of the game is to flip over a card in the hopes of making a 3-in-a-row so you can squish your opponents fish! Of course, how could my kids NOT enjoy squishing their bro/sis’s fish?! I thought that my kids would have been a bit too old to play this since they are 8 and 10 with the oldest being 14. Nope…even I had a fun squishing fish!
Throw ‘N Go! Jenga and Connect 4 Twist & Turn are the classic games with a modern twist!
- Ages 6+
- 2 Players
- Just like the old game of Connect 4 except each layer twists!
- Ages 8+
- Any Number of Players
- Classic game from the 80’s is back with new colors and a roll of the die determines what move you can make!
Hi-Ho! Cherry-O and Guess Who? are the classic games from my childhood! It was fun getting to experience these games with my kids now and seeing them enjoying them as much as I did. Guess Who? was our hands down most favorite game out of all of these games! My two youngest couldn’t get enough of it and the laughs and giggles were the best.
- Ages 3+
- 2-4 Players
- Classic child’s counting game
- Ages 6+
- 2 Players
- Classic Mystery Face Game from the 80’s!
You can find so many more games (classic and modern) at Winning Moves Games. Make sure to check them out when planning your next Family Game Night!
