Some films entertain. Some films educate. And a rare few quietly grab your heart and refuse to let go. Still Hope is one of those films.

Content note: This post discusses themes of human trafficking and recovery that may be difficult for some readers.

Arriving in theaters beginning February 5, Still Hope brings human trafficking into sharp focus while also shining a light on compassion, healing, and the long road to recovery. This is not just a rescue story. It is a story about what comes after.

About the Film: Still Hope

Synopsis:

Hope, a teenager from a tight-knit community, finds herself in danger when the person she believes to be a new friend proves unsafe. Taken from all she knows, Hope is forced into sex trafficking and stripped of her identity.

After finding freedom from her captors, Hope discovers that survival is only the first step. Inspired by true stories, Hope’s journey is a powerful illustration of the courage it takes to walk the complex path of recovery.

This film approaches a difficult subject with care and purpose. It does not exist for shock value. It exists to create awareness, spark conversation, and remind viewers that restoration and support matter deeply for survivors.

As Natalie Grant said, “Every person needs to see this film!”

Why This Film Matters

Human trafficking is often misunderstood and underdiscussed. Stories like Still Hope help bring truth into the open and put faces and emotions to what might otherwise feel like distant statistics.

What stood out most is that the message goes beyond rescue. The film emphasizes that freedom is just the beginning. Recovery, dignity, and long-term care are essential parts of the journey.

Another meaningful aspect is that a portion of ticket proceeds will go to organizations that care for victims of trafficking, so simply watching the film helps support real-world recovery efforts.

When you purchase a ticket to Still Hope, you are helping shine a light on the fight against trafficking and amplifying the hope this film was created to share.
